Customized Tours for Families
Paris for Kids
So you're coming to Paris with the kids, and you're wondering how you're going to find fun in the City of Light? Have no fear: French Links Tours has designed special introductory programs for families that include not just visits to the Eiffel Tower, the Orsay Museum and the Louvre, as well as to the city's major mouments, but also visits to the Chocolate Museum, the Catacombs, the Sewer Museum and the hands-on Science Museum with its outstanding planetarium and activities specially-geared to children ages three to twelve. Or perhaps they'll want to see the Medieval Fortress at Vincennes, or the awesome acquarium Cinéaqua at the Trocadéro.
We organize exclusive tours which will allow your family to discover parts of Paris not normally open to the public. Our 'Behind the Scenes' tour of the Eiffel Tower allows you into the underground bunker, the machine room and many other secret offices; our Backstage tour of the Lido, permits you to discover the sets, costumes and machinery of one of the greatest floor shows in the world. Our cooking classes and chocolate classes give the entire family a chance to make chocolate truffles, macarons, as well as cupcakes and even birthday cakes!
Outside of Paris, the kids can visit Versailles and the Domain of Marie Antoinette, as well as Vaux-le-Vicomte, where they can try on period costumes while they visit one of the most beautiful chateaux in France. Or they can enjoy a VIP tour at Disneyland Paris which allows priority access to the park. This program can be enhanced by a shopping trip to La Vallée Village which has the greatest selection of discount designer labels in France. If they wish to step back in time, they can visit Provins, the only walled Medieval town in northern France, where falconry and archery competitions are still maintained.
Come summer, we have a selection of seasonal family fun, including amusement parks and carnivals, bicycle and Segway tours, as well as swimming and boating activities.
Have concerns about eating and drinking? French Links Tours has scoped out restaurants that are inexpensive and entertaining, yet give kids a chance to discover French food at its best. Homesick for an ice-cream sundae or a muffin or a swimming pool/health club where kids can let off steam? French Links Tours has those answers as well.
